Welcome to Cripple Creek Ranch, located midway between Memphis and Nashville, TN. Our Ranch is situated on 110 acres of pasture and woodlands, which provided our herds with numerous sources of browse and forage. Our goats are supplemental fed as little as possible, usually enough so that we're able to catch them as necessary. We believe in "letting them be goats." We offer them free choice goat minerals and hay during the Winter months. We started in the goat business with 22 goats purchased in Florida in 2003. In 2004, we moved to Tennessee and our herd has grown to over 100 breeding does, most of which were born and raised on our farm. Our herds consist of Purebred IKGA Registered Kikos and Kiko/Boer percentage goats. We strive to provide outstanding breeding stock to other goat farmers in need of replacement does or bucks, or are just starting out in the goat business. Most percentage bucks are sold for commercial meat, along with any culls. Our herds are disease free, due in part to our annual vaccination program and strict isolation and testing for any newly purchased goats. Our herd is well protected by our 8 Livestock Guardian dogs. We also breed purebred Anatolian Shepherd LGDs, and will offer pups for sale when available. Even though we are "surrounded" by Coyotes, we have never lost an animal to a predator. We love to talk goats and are eager to learn or share our experiences with others. Please feel free to visit our ranch any time you're in the area.
